PFA Player of the year prt 1 Fernando Torres

With the player of the year awards coming up I decided to throw my two cents in on who should recieves the honours.
Fernando Torres: El Nino, I don't think you can call him that any more, despite El Nino also being a destructive unpredictable weather pattern. I believe to opponents his moniker is now El Diablo. I have watched this kid from his days at Athletico captaining a major team at his young age. I was delighted to hear that Wenger had plans to bring him to London only to have that shattered by Liverpool grabbing him instead. The result of that has been phenomenal. The only problem was Rafa's rotating policy and Liverpool lost out on winning the premiereship and Torres lost out on the opportunity to score even more goals. Torres is a well deserved candidate for the simple fact this is his debut season at one of the biggest clubs in England, under a tight rotation policy and still is able to break a record at the club. His pace is amazing, his shooting strong and is third eye on the pitch is top notch. He has also in less than a season formed a partnership with the captain and anchor of his team. The most impressive thing about Torres is he changes games when he is on the pitch. He does not relie on smoke screens from his fellow mates, but instead takes on a team himself and finishes the job. Many times he has made a goal from where there is none to be found and his team mates and coach are confident that he will bring a positive result every time he is on the pitch....stay tuned for other candidates
